This kit is a scissors and pliers spring replacement toolkit. There are several sizes of replacement springs and screws. There are also 2 different sizes of punches and 1 countersink and 1 anvil. The anvil has a spring loaded clamp to hold the scissors and SAK in place while the spring is being replaced. It all comes in this nice wooden box.
The first thing to do is load the SAK/scissors in place with the spring lined up with the cut out hole where it will drop after being punched out. The side of the anvil has a curve that lines up nicely with 91 and 84mm size SAK's main blade and the scissors are pointed out at a right angle and lying against the 2 posts. The clamp holds onto the scissors under heavy spring pressure. You then take the appropriate punch and set it on top of the spring and hit it with the palm of your hand. The spring or whats left of the broken spring should pop out and land into the cut out hole.
Next you take the countersink and spin it on the top of the hole until there is a slight slope so the new replacement spring will slide into place better. Then take the same punch and use the larger opposite side punch to pop the new spring into place.
