Victorinox Rainier - Serrated Blade - FOR SALE

 

Victorinox at one time produced several partially serrated main blade versions of 3 different SAK's and named them after some famous mountains around the world(Matterhorn, McKinley and Rainier). This one is the Rainier. It has the same basic Swiss Army knife functions as the Huntsman model but has the partially serrated main blade. The tip portion of the blade remains a plain edge. The serrations are varied in size and shape which is much different than other fully serrated blades that Victorinox produced and made for a different SAK's. These models are getting harder to find and you should add one to your collection ASAP.

Victorinox Dual Pro X Red

Victorinox Dual Pro X Red - This model is my favorite newer 111mm model since it includes the opener layer. The Hunter XT is nice and I love the orange color but without an opener layer I feel it is missing too many tools.

Wenger Alpine Backpacker(Sold)

This Wenger Alpine Backpacker is a locking serrated blade model with a wood saw. It has a fully serrated main blade that has the Pack Lock system locking blade. Other tools include a nail file, cap lifter, can opener, awl and corkscrew. This one does not have any inserts. It is new in the box with Wenger warranty and tool breakdown paper work. Wenger Esquire - Titanium scales with serrated blade(Sold)

This metal Wenger Esquire has bead blasted Titanium scales and a fully serrated blade. There are partially serrated blade models as well with the last tip of the blade with a smooth edge. See the SAKWick website for a photo. The surface of the scales feels smooth to touch.

Victorinox 111mm Hunter XT (SOLD)

This is one of the newer dual blade 111mm models. The Hunter XT has a One Hand Opening plain edge main blade with liner lock, a secondary One Hand Opening serrated Gutting or Safety Belt cutter with liner lock, a wood saw and a Phillips Screwdriver on the back. The scales are of the new Dual Density type with the Orange part being a hard plastic and the black areas are textured and have a grip type surface. The only other tool on this knife is the key ring which is out-fitted with one of Victorinox new lanyards. I like this knife but miss the opener layer. The knife weighs in at 150 grams.

Wenger Dual Double Blade knife (SOLD)

This is an unusual Wenger Swiss Army knife. It has 2 large blades on it. The primary blade is locking and is partially serrated while the other blade is a regular plain edge. I have seen several other knife owners with this model but I have no history or detailed knowledge on this model. It also has a scissors, nail file and the other usual Wenger style Swiss Army type knife tools. It is not a MOD or home made knife. It does not have any advertising or company names on it to indicate it might be a special order. If anyone knows more about this knife please post a response here.
