Vintage Victorinox Victoria Spartan - Stag

 

Vintage Victorinox Victoria Spartan - Stag, this is an older vintage pre 1961 Victorinox spartan with nice older thin stag scales. The modern stag scales are usually very thick, possibly due to the manufacturing process or the way the stag is harvested. No chips or cracks that I can see in the stag except the 2 nail nick beveled places on each side to help in opening the corkscrew and awl. The date range is due to this piece having the older triangular awl. Still snappy but there is some wear and marks from sharpening the 2 blades.

Nice blue colors and design on this Victorinox Spartan with Thyssenkrupp logo on scales and UHDE on main blade. I have a nice classic with similar logo but yellow colors, just click the "Thyssenkrupp" tag at the bottom of this post to see it.
