Vintage Wenger Dog-Leg Can Opener

Vintage Wenger Dog-Leg Can Opener, This is a vintage Wenger from the early 1970's or late 1960's. The can opener is called a dog-leg style due to its shape. It is made so you pierce the can and then rock the leg up and down to cut the metal on the upward cut. There are a couple styles with one having a longer "leg" than this one. I think the longer leg version is older as it does not have the diagram on it as the other one does.

Wenger Footballer 32 - Soccer knife FOR SALE

Wenger Footballer 32 - Soccer knife, here is an unusual sports themed knife made by Wenger. This is just one of 3 different knives made for the soccer or football field use. There is a large blade, combo tool, and a soccer shoe cleat wrench with scraper blade edge to clean debris from the shoe.

Wenger Commander - Savana Series - Natural Horn

The 2 Swiss knife manufacturers sometimes use natural horn material as scales. This is a like new example of a Wenger Commander with Natural Buffalo Horn scales. This is from the 1990's Savana series. They made this model as well as a 65mm Esquire model both in natural buffalo horn. Note the thickness and the lack of slots for the toothpick and tweezer inserts. The natural material makes nice patterns of white and dark ebony colors that look like swirls in candy.

Victorinox Delemont Evolution S557 Wood - US Air Force seal logo - (SOLD)

Victorinox Delemont Evolution S557 Wood - US Air Force seal logo - Wood scaled variety of the S557 model which has the pliers, scissors and the wrench tool with Philips screwdriver. The main blade is locking style with "Wenger's" original " Pack Lock" system. This one has the US Air Force metal seal inlaid into the wood. It uses the same size as the 58mm Classic US Air Force seal. Not sure who did this but it looks professional and well done.
