Victorinox Dual Pro X Red - This model is my favorite newer 111mm model since it includes the opener layer. The Hunter XT is nice and I love the orange color but without an opener layer I feel it is missing too many tools.

Victorinox 111mm Hunter XT (SOLD)

This is one of the newer dual blade 111mm models. The Hunter XT has a One Hand Opening plain edge main blade with liner lock, a secondary One Hand Opening serrated Gutting or Safety Belt cutter with liner lock, a wood saw and a Phillips Screwdriver on the back. The scales are of the new Dual Density type with the Orange part being a hard plastic and the black areas are textured and have a grip type surface. The only other tool on this knife is the key ring which is out-fitted with one of Victorinox new lanyards. I like this knife but miss the opener layer. The knife weighs in at 150 grams.

Victorinox 111mm Hunter(SOLD)

The 111mm Victorinox Hunter model is a unique knife. This one comes with OD Green nylon scales with a Deer printed design on the front scale. Some of these models are known to have come in plain red nylon both with and without the Deer and Camouflage scales. The main blade is of the slide lock style with a plain edge. There is a wood saw, awl/reamer, corkscrew, keyring, toothpick and tweezers.

The really special part about this knife is that it has a combo tool and a gutting blade, found only on a couple of 111mm models. The combo tool is the same design as the smaller 91mm version but is thicker and more robust. The gutting blade is a curved serrated blade made for dressing out a large animal while hunting, however this tool could be used for many other tasks. Some note that it has nearly the same design as the safety blade on a Fireman or Rescue Tool for cutting seat belts safely away from accident victims.

The Wenger Hunter model number 16942 is an exact duplicate of the Wenger Viking with the addition of the Kentucky Rifle embossed into the front scale. There are 2 variations of this model, one having a lock blade. The image is embossed into the scale with a silver highlight exactly like all other standard images Wenger uses on these older SAK's. The Hunter has 2 blades, both openers and the standard corkscrew and awl on the bottom. This model does not have a toothpick or tweezers. The keyring with chain is standard for this model.

Victorinox 108mm Stag Hunter(Sold)

This is one of the older discontinued 108mm models called a Hunter with beautiful fake stag scales. There were some real stag models made as well but they are pretty hard to find. It has a main blade, a smooth edge gutting blade and a combo tool wood saw on the top side as well as a corkscrew and an awl on the bottom side. The scales are made from plastic in a stag look. While it is hard to find these in new condition they are not rare like the genuine stag scaled Hunter. These knives were pretty popular back in the 1980's. The size comes from the older GAK that Victorinox and many other companies made for Germany. Victorinox made several models for civilian use. There is another Hunter model with plain red scales.

Wenger Century Advantage Timber Camouflage (SOLD)

Here is one of Wenger's larger 120mm sized knives. The partially serrated blade by itself measures about 100mm's from tip to tang. The metal has been treated with non-reflective coating. The scales are designed by Bill Jordan in Advantage Timber. There is also one available in Realtree Hardwoods. The lock mechanism is actually a liner lock with a sliding rear switch that moves the liner out of the way to close the blade. This is more of a hunters type knife. It is very large and pretty strong. Besides a keyring there are no other features.

This is another custom made from factory spare parts 108mm Victorinox Hunter with just a single clip blade and corkscrew. This is one of my favorites as it has my favorite blade style and is fairly light weight but robust feeling in your hand. There are no tang stamp markings but this piece was made from spare factory parts just as my other custom hunter knife was. It has the standard red nylon "Safari" line of scales with Swiss cross. This knife was commissioned by Swissbianco Roger and he called it the "Jung Jager" or Young Hunter in english.

Custom Victorinox 108mm Hunter(Sold)

This 108mm Victorinox knife is a custom made piece out of spare parts from the Victorinox factory. The main differences between this one and the standard 108mm Hunter is the Clip Point blade replaces the Wood Saw/Combo Tool. He(SwissBianco) did not install an awl on this custom knife either which is odd. I suppose they were short of Awl parts. The clip blade is not tang stamped, but the main spear point blade is Victorinox stamped. This one has the serrated version of the Gutting blade.

This knife comes from the "Safari" line of 108mm knives. It is based on the same frame that makes up the German Army Knife from earlier years. This Hunter is a 3 blade model with a Corkscrew and Awl. It has the Combo Tool/Wood Saw, a main blade and a gutting blade. The scales are a tough very durable nylon and there is a lanyard hole through the handle of the knife.
