Victorinox 74mm Stainless Steel Director - Hoffritz

The Victorinox 74mm Director is a stainless steel scaled version of the "Executive" with the same tools except missing the toothpick and tweezers. The scales have a engine turned design which means the scales were produced with a design that was made using a special process that literally engraves various designs into the steel. There have been at least 2 or 3 different designs made for the Director model with the most common being a striped design with wavy lines in between. Victorinox has also produced a "Hoffritz" tang stamped Director. While the Director is an older discontinued model there seems to be some left over new old stock supplies in various shops worldwide since they come up for sale fairly routinely but usually at or above MSRP. The Hoffritz marked pieces are a little harder to find.

The Wenger Hunter model number 16942 is an exact duplicate of the Wenger Viking with the addition of the Kentucky Rifle embossed into the front scale. There are 2 variations of this model, one having a lock blade. The image is embossed into the scale with a silver highlight exactly like all other standard images Wenger uses on these older SAK's. The Hunter has 2 blades, both openers and the standard corkscrew and awl on the bottom. This model does not have a toothpick or tweezers. The keyring with chain is standard for this model.
