Victorinox's newest color and design features a modernistic metallic look. The underside of the scales are colored with a silver aluminum color that gives the appearance of machined metal surfaces. The other major design difference is the change to a new brighter "White" led lite that is very bright for its size. The older red led could barely help you to find a keyhole in the dark, while this one will light your path to the door and then some. It compares to many of the newest modern white led key chain lights currently on the market. The biggest flaw to me is the price is near double that of a regular Signature Lite model. That may change in the future though.
